The Past Times Party at Southport Hall was nuts! The place literally filled to the brim and the party took off even way earlier than planned as the 'oldschool' DJ's put on a show that displayed what true turntabilism and MCing was and still is all about. Of course, this was a well done buildup for Egyptian Lover who tore up the show with an amazing performance!

Saturday Night City Bar hosted the Gridiron Couture Fashion Show as the lovely ladies of the show walked the runway while Dj Ali Meyer put together a Saints pep rally mix. The show was sponsored by Budweiser, produced by Dana Bishop & consisted of the new line by Lady Soho & Defend New Orleans as they brought their saints attire to the runway. Dj Ali Myer, Dj Lil, & Dj Munkie C took their turns on the decks keeping the dance floor packed all night long.

Back to School for some may mean nose in the book and ear to the grindstone but not for the folks at the Metropolitan. It’s just another reason to get out there and have yet another wicked party and that is exactly what they did Saturday night! Some came to get that last minute party fever out there system, others celebrating the fact there kids will be out the house a little more often. Whatever the motivation, the dance floor was packed and there VIP’s were full.

DJ Kris P rocked Masquerades this past weekend thowin down the hottest tracks as a diverse crowd got crunk on the dance floor. Every month Harrah’s will be bringing you a special guest DJ with a unique style that is definitely worth coming out for, so stay tuned because I’m sure next month will be just as great.

I honestly thought the club was fairly packed when I first arrived at City Bar on Friday night for the famous Girls Night Out, however little did I know hoards of people were still to arrive to carry on the party after yet another preseason victory, this time over the SD Chargers. Who Dat? Hope you all are ready for a little treat City Bar has in store for you party goers; can you say “LIVE MUSIC”? That’s right, every Thursday night starting on the 16th of September. Live local music, of which you have a say so in whom you see. Just voice your opinion.

What an awesome time with great friends at The Dive Bar for the Saints game Friday night. LJ cooked up free hot dogs and hamburgers while Monique and Cassie served up all the cheap drinks. The humongous 10ft. projector screen kept everyone entertained with the Saints destroying the Chargers. So be sure to make The Dive Bar your Saints game hot spot every week, located at 3408 28th St. across from the Landmark Hotel in Metairie.

The pre season, post game party palace was poppin on Friday. Saints fans threw down hard at Masquerades after our beloved football team defeated the Chargers.

Thursday nights at the Frat House have been crazy this past summer and even though school is in session the party doesn’t seem to be over. The place was still packed with a wild crowd ready to start the weekend.

As the Saints Kicked off their first pre-season home game the city came to life & with the win many attended the best party in town for the Saints Super Saturday Event. The best dressed Saints fan won a $200 bar tab or a free VIP section, it was a great game day after party where many friendly faces all came to dance the night away & show there team spirit.

Saints fans were certainly out in full effect after Saturday’s pre season victory. Masquerade’s was packed with black and gold adorned beautiful people. Minutes after the game let out the dance floor filled and didn’t clear till well after 2 in the morning.

Without a doubt the Friday night spot in Metairie has to be City Bar. Like clockwork, at 11 the party people flood through the door and don’t stop till the early morn’. Between DJ Sharkie moving the crowd and the unbeatable $2 premium vodka drink special there is no way one cannot have a blast at this place.

Looking for one of those, ” I can’t remember what happened last night”, nights. Well the Frat House is your Thursday night hot spot. Get all of your friends and come by. There is always a big crowd, great dance music, and the best bartenders in town to make sure your time spent there is worth it.

Wednesday Night local salons teamed up to help raise money for The West Jeff Hospital Foundation Cancer Fund at Boomtown Casino. Regan Cheramie Hair Salon, Shear Envy, Salon Bella Lina, & Salon Jolie all sponsored the hair styles of the show & fashions were sponsored by Dillard’s Oakwood. With a cash bar, silent auction, & plenty of run way show it was a money making event for Cancer.

Dj Damion Yancy rocked the Metro Saturday Night for the bottle poppin event of the night, with VIP sold out & both rooms packed to the gills it was a night to remember. Dj Ronnie Roux kicked room 2 into overdrive with that classic dance format many can’t get enough out of. Next week don’t miss the open bar tab contest for the best & most spirited Saints fan.
